(Tale in the Spirit about the Revelation
of St. John)
Chapter 9 - 7th Day Adventists Faith Path
The virtual
reality of a 7th Day Adventist church and the grounds outside. In the outside
green grounds, Darth as a man in a white shirt and black trousers, stood
next to a woman, Mary, holding a baby. Around them perhaps fifty women,
and about seven men, from the Adventists Life in the Spirit.
"Welcome", Darth began to talk and walk around the inner circle the
women formed, "when we were children we were taught by the spirit, through
the prophets and Saints and apostles, in accordance with our ability to
understand. Now it is time we became teenagers."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "Jesus said he was the fulfillment
of the law and the prophets. Scholars can argue all they like what this
meant. Let me explain to you what he meant. The first Adam was a spiritual
being, I believe Saint Paul might have explained this, while Jesus was the
Man who was Adam. The image of Adam in God's mind, that Jesus became. The
spiritual Adam rested and dwelled in the hearts and minds of the men of old,
just like the spiritual Eve rested in the hearts and minds of the women of
old."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "We believe in the resurrection
and the life. We believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead. And so he
was, but what does this mean? How God chooses to propagate the life of His
Son and Daughter, is his prerogative alone. The resurrected Jesus became
an infant in the hearts of men and women of faith. It is that Jesus in
you, that draws you to me."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "There is so much talk of the Revelation
and the coming of the Son of Man. Why do people presume it refers to Jesus?
Jesus is already resurrected, not resting in the peace of non-existence.
The resurrected Jesus is a child in you, in some cases only an infant. Even
an infant knows its parent. Whether it is the child Jesus in you, or the
baby Jesus in you, Jesus still draws you to me."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "I am the Lord your God. To the
thirsty I give waters of life at no charge. My Ways are the Ways of Old.
My mission is to build the Faith Paths for all the infant Jesus in the
world. A Faith Path is like a ladder of a step, along that ladder the adult
Jesus in his new form can enter higher transitions of life. That new form
is in you. You are the Son of Man. The baby my wife, this wife", Darth pointed
to Mary, "holds, is the spirit in you, the spirit of Man and God bound together."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "The purpose of God, the God of
creation, is to give every chance to any life-form capable of understanding,
a chance at everlasting life. Not an easy task. Like all life begins be
it in a physical or dimensional realm of life, evolution God's way, as documented
in our Science of Life, is the first process of natural creation. On Earth,
the animal-human has evolved. A Man with an animal inside. It is the removal
of that animal nature that is first required, before a true everlasting spirit
can be born in you. The animal can not be removed by thrashing the outer
garment, no, it can only be removed by refinement of the soul."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "And that is not easy. Whether we
talk about Abraham struggling with a Man, or Job, or Jesus even during his
hour of temptation, or the writings of Saints such as Saint John of the Cross
and his Dark Knight of the Soul, the message ought be clear - it is not easy
to forsake, to put behind, the animal nature in Man."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "To make it easier, I give these
instructions. Have nothing to do with those who bear arms. Look at a soldier
as a professional killer, at a policeman as a type of a thug with a gun.
Distance yourself from the powers of this world. The child Jesus in you
has nothing to do with such. You, the adult, are the parent of the child
Jesus in you. Let the child grow and develop in you, blend with you. A transformation
takes place when this happens."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "Is it not written that each heavenly
star differs in glory? What does this mean? You could look at the night
sky and study each star. Such relations to a physical universe or day to
day events, is one way the authors of the Bible chose to teach their profound
message. Such will give you a solid foundation for understanding."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "God is the God of the living, not
of the dead. You who are alive in the spirit, are tasting a transition
of life, are being introduced into the steps of everlasting life. There
are many transitions of life - in truth, the journey of life is infinite.
Do not speculate much about such matters, these matters are beyond us.
Rather, have hope, have faith, set your heart on the Way of Love."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "With the Science of Life now preached
in mid-heaven, across all known Life in the Spirit groups, the nature of
evolution, of life, of our galaxy and beyond, is being made clear. Not something
many of us are into but there are adequate number of people with the boy
Jesus in them who have a right to understand such aspects of creation and
evolution."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "In the same that Jesus told his
followers that he came not to overturn or negate the law or the prophets
but to fulfill these, so too I put it to you that I, the Holy Spirit or
Spirit of Truth, in a man, have come to complete the Revelation foretold
by the apostle John. Do not study such with a blindfold. John write in
extremely conceptual and abstract terms. Few Man in the world cab grasp
his message cleanly. He was also born in the age during which Mankind thought
the world was flat and the sky above the abode of heaven. With such severe
limitations on the knowledge and traditions of Mankind in his time, the
apostle had little choice but to present matters in a highly cryptic language."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "However, if such is your interest
and your passion, then in Life in the Spirit any mystery of God can be
found and tested. You need to be prepared to lift your spirit into higher
steps of a Faith Path. As your spirit lifts, more of the animal nature in
all of us, struggle with the spirit. More of the subconscious floods the
conscious, and can burden the soul. Your subconscious is there to protect
the life in you. Had it not been so, you would be as much of an animal as
any animal. During dreams tensions are managed and discharged and things
are hidden which your fragile reason and intellect could not cope with.
As the spirit reveals itself to you, your subconscious begins to be purged
of its animal traits."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "No matter in whom the baby or child
Jesus is in, be such a Catholic, a Jew, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Hindu, whoever,
for the past thirty years we have worked to design and develop Faith Paths
for each such Life in the Spirit groups we have found. Who is we? Did I not
say at the outset that I AM the Lord your God and my Ways are the Ways of
Old? The Ways of Old are the descendants of the righteous ones whom Jesus
did not call. As he had said, "I came to the sinners, not the righteous."
My Ways of Old maintain an image of God relative to Man, and it is in this
context that it was said of Jesus that "he sits on the right hand of the
father"."
Darth turned, walked the other way. "Mystery after mystery I could teach
you, but what use to you such if you do not have love? Is it not said, God
is Love? What is love? The mother allowing her newborn to suckle milk from
her breast, is that not love? The mother washing and changing her newborn,
is that not love? To a man the mystery of God can be more seductive and desirable
than the love of a natural woman, and yet, to a woman, to care for a child
is more important. What is love? The former or the latter?"
Darth turned, walked the other way. "Why are there so many belief systems
in the world? We all know that a belief system in any person can be ever
so strong. Challenge such a belief system and you may provoke the animal
inside to even strike you. Part of the reason is that a belief system protects
the unfinished business of childhood. A child whose puppy had died may be
told by its mother that puppy is not in a "doggie heaven". This helps to
reduce the child's tears. The young brain now awaken to a protective mechanism
it has at its disposal, and begins piling the unfinished business of childhood
into this protective coating.
Darth turned, walked the other way. "But hello? I sense your interest as
I explained this. And yet its not a mystery of God, its something modern
medical science knows well. Your reason for desiring to know mysteries of
the spirit, may have nothing proper to do with a personal passion, merely
a passing curiousity. That is not what the mysteries of God are about - they
are as precious as pearls. And is it not written "do not give to pigs that
which is holy?" The mysteries of God which the spirit can reveal to you,
are for the image of Jesus in you, not for your human consumption."
The imagery changed to an ordinary house and Mary standing at one end of
a change table and changing the baby. Darth sitting on a chair near Mary,
watching, his hand on her hip. "The new Faith Path belongs to you. Think well
before you accept this offer. The death of your body will not halt your consciousness
in the spirit looking after this Faith Path. Just as the man Jesus,
as distinct from the spirit, waits in a realm of life, continually lifting
those who have a hope in his name to him, so will you remain. Do not wonder
how, instead trust, have faith."
"I will", Mary turned and said gently and gave her husband a kiss.
