A Neuroscientific Report

Psychic (Natural Telepaths) Medical Science
(these presentations intended mainly for psychiatrists or most serious clinical scholars of the mind and brain)


Chapter 2 - Slightly More Relevant Chapter

This report is put together while assisting what is called an Anglican Life in the Spirit group to be able to interact with Jewish Life in the Spirit groups known as "Holy Ways". The reason is this. In the New Testament, there is a passage that says "The Father is greater than I". To those in the know, when Jesus used the term "Father" it meant the Jewish Holy Ways, and when any person begins to reflect on what that meant "the Father is greater than I", and they are in Life in the Spirit, they have to brought to the Father which are the Jewish Holy Ways. They are permitted, in a sense, at that point in their spiritual maturity, to know the Father more directly. The psychics, over thirty years now, have taken it upon themselves to, when a young Life in the Spirit group begins to cross over into their telepathy channels, to assist such a group finding the group they actually ought to be interacting with. Why so many younger Life in the Spirit groups had begun to more and more cross into the telepathic channels used by Telepaths and not directly into where they were supposed to be heading, that is not altogether clear but the simplest way to remove these people from psychic channels is to help them reach their destination.

A telepathic interaction like this, while meant to be a neuroscientific report, has "side issues". The reason this happens is, for example, one of the Anglican Ministers in ordinary life might be watering his garden. The telepathic imagery can be in the back of his head and can be "light" enough not to burden his brain so he can be doing other things while still aware of the imagery and dialogue - however, if, for example, a bee comes near him, his focus and attention would shift, this would cause like a wait in the actual telepathy, consequently some of the persons interacting might side track, talk about other things or do other things, until the focus of the man is back on the mental background imagery.




The imagery that formed was majestic even if mostly made of white dots. This was in fact an Islamic Life in the Spirit. Darth, the images cartoon-like, imagined himself a small person in his blue suit with a tie. Lisa, in her usual old-fashioned kind of long gown also did and imagined standing to the side. Harla, Darth's twelve year old telepathic daughter, also imagined standing not far from Lisa. Harla typically in a white shirt and knee long pleated black skirt. Harla had a unique trait. She had longish black hair and wide eyes and this face that could convey, with the eyes, anything without her needing to say anything. As Harla formed her image, she glanced at Lisa who gave a light shrug and took a step away from Harla. The two girls had often "competed" with one another about who is their telepathic father's "darling" and Harla was a Muslim in ordinary life and this was an Islamic setting and her facial gesture told Lisa off, that Lisa should not really be here (in ordinary Life Lisa is a Catholic like Darth), and the reason Lisa took a step away.

Darth was standing facing the Anglicans who, also small cartoon like images, imagined sitting on chairs in front of him. Behind them, in the distance, a considerable distance, was a typical Islamic architecture front - imagine the front of the Taj Mahal but made of small compact dots.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. We have shifted into Islamic Life in the Spirit. Just take my word for it, after a while you get to know which settings, which imagery, which styles of interactions, belong to which major group. Islamic Life in the Spirit is similar to Jewish Life in the Spirit in the context of using legal type reasoning. However, Islamic Law in the spirit would be alien to any Islamic lawyer. To some extent that is true of the Law of Moses in the spirit...Jewish experts not in the spirit might have a headache trying to equate the two, the spiritual and ordinary life interpretation and translation."

"Now," Darth began to pace about with hands clasped behind and flow, "not that long an Islamic court in...I never recall which country when I use these examples...handed a prison sentence of three months to two young tourists caught having sex in public. Seemed to me a modest sentence in an Islamic country. However, interestingly, it is one of those ever so incredibly rare situations in which an Islamic court in the spirit would pass much the same sentence. Let us analyze this situation from psychic legal way of reasoning."

As Darth was pacing, he often turned and paced the other way. "Firstly. What harm has been done? That we don't know. Perhaps a small child saw this and this caused her or him nightmares. Possibly, even when we don't have or know of direct evidence, this sort of action can cause harm. Also, it is not nice for others to see. So, we do want to deter this type of activity. Not punish, that is the animal-human instinct. Punishment and reward are the fundamental drives in an animal-human instinct but not so in a human instinct. I don't give an iota about punishment, what I am after in this case is to find a practical deterrence. So, let's assume this is the first time this happened. I don't actually know what the proper deterrence would be. Given this is Islam and we need to be sensitive and tolerant to sensibilities of a culture, seems to me the proper punishment in this sense, would be a prison sentence. For how long? I have no idea. The minimal time is what I want. If I set a too long a time and then regret it, thinking it was too long, if by chance this happens again I will have this outcry if I don't follow a precedent and give an equal prison sentence. I want this term to be long enough to deter, but as minimal as possible."

Darth paused and paced about again the other way. "I would talk this over with others because I don't have any idea what the best term would be to ensure a deterrence. A month might seem too low, two months maybe, but just to be on the safe side let us say three months. If this happens again with another couple, we would need to seriously consider if three months is thus acceptable but in the first instance we don't know, we need to establish this in reality."

"A few points to note. This is not a punishment, I don't think in those terms, it is a deterrence technique. If for some reason say the young man explains that he has to go back to enroll at University in a months time else he will have to wait a whole year, I would pass a sentence that lets him go free for that month. No interest to me how this term is served, as along as it served. I am not interested in punishing the couple or causing them any problems. If I am satisfied this is a genuine reason the young man gave, I have no problems passing a sentence which imposes say a 6 month period during which the sentence must be served but allows some discretion as to when the time is served."

"There are some things I do need to do. First, I want to detach myself from the two people in the sense of personality or culture. I don't care if they are Jewish tourists, American tourists, our own own young couple. This is not that easy to do by the way. If this young man starts screaming in my court complaining we are old fashioned and have no right to do this, I might take a dislike to the young man. I don't want any like or dislike to enter my considerations, so I need to detach myself. My personal way of doing this is by imagining the two young offenders as Americans for a while, then Arabs, then Jews, then Germans, whatever, and I do this for as long as it takes for my brain to erase any bias or prejudice I may have about a particular culture or country. Biases we all have, and these are at the root subconscious level and we don't know what we may have really, so while I don't know if I have any or not about these tourists but just to make sure I want my reason alone to do the deliberation, not the subconscious."

"In a animal human, this type of detachment is impossible because the fundamental drive and state of mind is "reward and punishment" and "this is the way it is".  My Id, my Ego, if I was an animal-human, would take every opportunity to use any bias to cloud my reason and attain a gratification. For this reason I am guessing but I don't think any animal-human could ever make it to senior courts as a judge. In Islam, however, I suspect the opposite holds true and certain appropriate bias and prejudice is applauded in senior judges. So, for example, given the continual misunderstanding between Jews and Arabs, if this was a Jewish couple I would know my people would expect me to be harsher with them than with any other tourists. If I am an animal human, in this hypothetical, not only would I enjoy doing this, it may also serves my career interest to do so."

"That drive of reward and punishment comes from the instinct. A drive from the instinct might trigger strong feelings and fears to originate from an area in the brain known as the amygdala which in turn prepares my body chemistry to act in accordance with my drive. A higher reason, as all animals have, can overpower this drive except in life threatening situations in which case it is the instinct the takes hold of the body for as long as it takes to escape."

"Example. Not long ago I saw a National Geographic clip in which someone managed to capture on film a lioness sharing a meal with two hyenas. Natural enemies. Instinct in one to tear the other apart, and instinct in the hyenas to run away as fast as they can. But, in this case, the meal was small and the lioness was away from the pack. Lions have this very strict sense of order about meals. If the lioness brought this small catch to the herd, she would have lost her meal, would have to give it away to whoever was superior to her in the order. The catch was too small for that, the lioness knew this. If she made a fuss about the hyenas, the other lions would come and she would soon loose her meal anyway. The hyenas, their higher function, when they came across the lioness, worked all this out very quickly - that the lioness had everything to loose and nothing to gain if she made a fuss - and decided this was a sure meal and just came and laid down and started eating the other side of the catch. And they were right! The lioness did not object and ate her portion while the hyenas ate their side. So, in all situations except life-threatening, the drives of the instinct can be controlled by higher functions of the brain. There are apparent exceptions in that an addiction of a kind might use a drive as a perfect weapon to feed itself. But this is the higher function that is unable to overpower the addiction, it is not the instinct that is pressing or fueling an addiction."

"Let me cast your mind back to the example of APEC and those comedians. While at the time the police found out, they were furious and demanded the harshest punishment, this was an instinctive reaction. A drive does not last long. It does its work and that's it. That night many of these police officers might have had a laugh at this themselves. The reason they so viciously pursued this afterwards and wanted the comedians in prison is not because the instinct was still causing the drive, no, it was the higher functions that failed to let go of the incident."

"According to our psychic science, when a human mates with an animal-human, the result is an animal-human. In fact, the biblical tale of Abel and Cain attempts, so we believe, explain this principle too. The ancients might have understood many things that we no longer do, perhaps not understood in the sense of the the psychic science but in their own way."

"Now, an animal-human child brought up by animal-human parents would from an early age see examples of reward and punishment in his or her daily life. It would become a natural function of their natural state of mind. For this reason even if the drive causing the "punishment and reward" urge stops, the higher functions are in the state of mind in which "this is the way it is" is the norm and a natural state and hence would insist that punishment just has to be seen to be done."

The imagery seemed to pause. Lisa's image became a touch faded. While she was still sixteen in their way of life, in ordinary life she was older and might have been shopping and perhaps a dress in a window took her attention. Whatever the reason, the rest of the group silenced their thoughts (waiting for Lisa's focus to return). Harla took this opportunity to rush to her telepathic father, imagined herself like a four year old, insisted on being picked up and held like a four year old, then using hand gestures and those expressive eyes and face clearly made it known she really did not see a need to Lisa to be in this Islamic setting. In ordinary life Harla was a Muslim but of rather liberal parents and she did not wear Islamic dress much or for that matter knew that much about Islam - but when in Islamic Life in the Spirit she became a touch possessive.

Darth held her close flowing a soft warm feeling. In ordinary life - no, in their "ordinary life" meaning their enchanting low-level telepathy life which was a replica of real life using the beach side setting - the two sisters got along splendidly. Only on rare occasions did this "need to be favourite" cause a hiccup. Lisa was incredibly mindful of her telepathic father and if he came home tired, she might even insist he just lay down on the sofa and relax and she would take his shoes off and would bring him his slippers and would he like a cup of tea? She could use such a soft loving tone, admiring tone, that this sometimes, when Harla was near, made Harla's blood boil, she perhaps turning to her other sisters or mother demanding to know why Lisa felt their father was her father alone. But such times were few.

"In the world of the animal-human," Darth continued in his stride, "concepts of leadership are fundamental. In the domain of the human, this is incidental. The strongest natural drive in the human can be explained as "drive for justice." Or in simple words "to do the right thing by each other". What that is in a given situation, depends on many factors and circumstances and what we feel and believe or want to believe. When South Africa became one true nation, a body called the Reconciliation and Truth commission was established. Australia, in my view, may just benefit from one of those also. So many court orders had been sold using different schemes and had in some cases devastated lives of people, that the truth in this regard might become very clear as the train to the republic continues its unstoppable journey. To recognise what are the fundamental things that have to be reconciled in some way, be it an apology by a head of state, so I believe, would be better achieved if a deep understanding takes place that animal-humans are animal-humans and humans are humans. That different natural drives are operating. But, given the fundamental drive in the human is to do the right thing by one another, and given an appreciation of the animal-human, seems to me some clever psychologists could find clever ways to reconcile both camps in a trusting way. There are, so I believe, so many legitimate reasons for understanding the instinct in the two divergent humanoid species. There are practical problems. To refer to half of your society as animal-human is unlikely to win votes for any politician from that half. Given a politician needs more than half the votes, this is not a position any serious politician is likely to deliberate about."

"Ladies and Gentlemen. Fellow scholars. Come now. Let us think clearly and reason well. When Freud put forth his psychoanalytical theories, these were banned by the American Medical Associations; in Hitler's Germany all his books were burnt - the reason here is a touch less certain, Freud was a Jew after all, so whether his books were burnt because like the Americans they felt they were offensive to human dignity and pride, claiming for example that all dreams contain sexual symbolism, or because he was a Jew, that we can never know. The point is, Freud knew he was right about a great many things. Freud's subjects were typically the mentally insane, people with severe neurosis, and in such people perhaps all dreams do contain latent sexual content. I doubt that Freud's theories can enlighten us too much about the normal healthy brain and mind, which is what this neuroscience is more about. If we do understand what a healthy Superego and Ego is from a neuroscience perspective, only then can we focus on specific areas or occupations in society and decipher if what they do, actually deforms the brain's structures and integrity. The brain can modify itself. We know that from medical science. The brain can be influenced by an external will to modify itself - we know that from examples such as speech pathology. The external will can be what the person does or is forced to do - and how does this will modify the person, if at all, and is this insanity? This is the sort of question we are pursuing. Our hypothesis is that soldiers and police officers, the general soldier or police officer, is almost without exception an animal-human type of humanoid. These types consider it natural to protect the rich while kick families out on the street if a court issues eviction orders. No problem, no bother, to the animal human. To the human, a police officer that is unfortunate to be human would resign instead of executing any "evil" court order. To a human, what is evil is clearly seen with an objective eye. To evict a family with children, just to protect the wealth of the super rich landlord, is as evil as you can find. To a human that is, it is evil. To the animal-human, they are just doing their job and "this is the way things are". Or what about the soldiers sent to war to kill others - they claim are just doing their job! More so, such animal-humans may even see some kind of glory in war and in death in war - while the human looks at wars as evil and war memorials as monuments to terror. The fundamental difference in the two species of humanoid is vital to our appreciation of neuroscience in psychiatry. There is little point inventing polite terms in our science. We are defining the two species of humanoid, one as animal-human and the other as human, and base our science on this important difference."
