 Ideal Dream

Chapter 5, Stone Steps

The intention of this novel is to convey the nature and techniques of advanced telepathy.

Let your light shine.

From the Natural Telepaths own version of the Gospels, attributed to the Holy Spirit.

In their telepathic setting they imagined being in Old Parliament House in Canberra, Australia. The room used by the Prime Minister - and sometimes in the room used by the leader of the opposition.

Melanie made Darth imagining in the Prime Ministers chair. She made Lisa and Stephanie sit down, each decided to hold a yellow flower in their lap. At first Melanie was standing behind her husband, but then she swiveled his chair and sat herself across his lap. She toyed with his hair as she flowed gently, "listen to me, Son of God, the transitions of life the spirit revealed to this generation, are for the likes of the psychics and the few Jewish Holy Ways. Most human beings would not cope knowing such things. I want to know that God is Love, that there is a heaven, and that He through his apostles and others, teaches humanity how to lead better lives. I suggest my mission", she gave Darth a kiss at the same time as glancing at the two girls and pushing Darth's hand away from sliding too high along her legs, "is to explain basic Life in the Spirit - an ideal life that the Watchtower magazines attempt to capture on the covers...the Witnesses Life in the Spirit..all are welcome, if they can find the technique we use...that is more for humanity...transitions of life and the depths of the mystery of God are for Saints, angels, divinely intelligent people, not for the most...what do you feel?"

"I think I like the way I could feel so strongly your leg", Darth replied, forgetting the two girls were with them.

Melanie glanced at the girls, gave Darth a kiss, and imagined pulling a leather chair closer to his and she sat very neatly in that chair. "I meant about what I said...did you hear any of what I said?"

"Oh", Darth swiveled his chair and imagined tossing a pen onto the large Oak desk, "yes, very good idea."

"I am confused", Stephanie turned to Lisa, "is that Helen or another woman called Melanie?"

"Its both", Lisa explained, "Helen is inside Melanie."

"Inside?", Stephanie asked.

"Yes...blends with her soul", Lisa explained, "uhm...Helen, our telepathic mother, the only true mother really in that sense, is more like a soul, a spirit, and she has to be inside a person before that woman can be so intimate with dad."

"I understand", Stephanie nodded and added softly, "I think."

Darth imagined a whiteboard and he standing in front of it. On the whiteboard an image of the human brain. He pointed to the left hand side. "This is a human brain. It is really two brains. The left and the right joined together by a hyper communication channels known as the corpus callosum. The left is mainly the logical and so called rational side. The right is mainly feelings, intuition. That's a simple view, lots of things the brain does. In some people its the other way around, the right brain being the logical one. Now, when you and I listen to music, it is mostly our right side that enjoys - but in professional musicians, it is the left side. Same for, for example, judges. To us natural justice is the domain of the right, we hear and appreciate legal decision only with the right but the professional lawyers uses the left side only. Problem being, if you only use a small portion of your brain, that becomes your reality, and you may see things different to others. An animal, for example, has one view of the world, the view determined by the capacity of the brain. But...this is simple, superficial, compared to the mystery of life. Many parts of your being, the life within you, come together in certain situations."

Darth sat down. Lisa leant and asked politely, "that was most interesting, father, but what was your point?"

"Oh", Darth realized, "I was trying to explain how Helen is in Melanie...the spirit blends with Melanie and the two become one."

"You failed", Lisa shook her head in the negative.

"Sorry, had a good thought then lost it", Darth replied.

"Darth", Melanie leant, "do you think if people understand that simple death of the body may not squash the life within, and there is such a thing as beyond the grave and hell, that this would encourage people to be better?"

"I am not so sure", Darth replied, "cigarette smoking is not healthy but no matter how much is explained, smoker's find it hard to quit. In time scientists, independent scientists, will validate the Science of Life as the psychics are informing people about, but how much good this will do in making people better, I am not sure."

"I understand that", Stephanie nodded at Lisa, "that explained that well."

(from earlier times)

In their mind they were together, father and daughter in the spirit. In their mind an image of a bedroom, the man laying down, fully clothed, and sitting neatly on the bed a nine year old child in a satin golden dress. She had long light brown hair tied in a ponytail.

"In the days of the ancients", Darth pointed at the light on the ceiling, "the High Priest of Israel would lay down like this in the inner sanctuary of the tent of the meeting. A female image would entwine much like you. She would link, using telepathy, to all the women in different tribes of Israel of which there were twelve. As she did this, faces would form around the light on the ceiling. How a face looked, explained to the Priest and the female with him how each tribe was doing relative to God. For example, a face half human suggested the tribe still worshipped animals. Look up Stephanie, what do you see?"

The child tried to look up but found she could not, instead a vivid memory recall came to her of a Watchtower magazine. On the cover a man and woman and children, in an ideal setting of a paradise on Earth.

Stephanie explained this, she stretching her arms wide as she explained, "I can't, dad, I try to look up, honest", she crossed her heart with a finger, "but the devil is forcing me to recall a picture on the cover of a magazine."

"The devil?", Darth mused as she stroked her hair with his hand.

"Aha", the child laid down next to him, leaning against him, her arm across his chest, "who else but the devil can trick me like this?"

Darth forced her will and now in their mind the two standing on desert sand before a tall mountain. The Sun strong, covered by a light mist giving the scene an eerie appearance. Darth knelt and touching her face delicately explained, "you are young...an adult who would see this pristine vision in their mind would be struck dumb...could not comprehend what is happening to them...but you are young and to you this is not unusual."

"I am also frightened", the child looked about at the awesome mental imagery in which she imagined her "other self". She shook her head and said softly, "but not that much and not when I am with you, you are my imaginary friend in the lord."

"What are you doing in ordinary life?", Darth asked as she stood up.

"Not much", the child shook her head, "I am pretending that I am watching television. My mother is with me, knitting. Dad had found a day's work and had come home tired and is sleeping I think."

Darth took her hand and they began to walk to the mountain. Of all his telepathic children, this one was proving more of a worry than the others because she was completely natural, completely aware, no others were linked to her, no others were guiding her and protecting her mind during telepathy.

"From deep in my heart", Darth flowed as they walked, "my Father says you are mine adopted child, and I am to look after you. Do you know who I refer to when I use the words my Father?"

"Yes", Stephanie glanced up, "God."

"As you watch television in ordinary life", Darth said, "now my will causes overlaps, many frames of the same image on television...tell me when you see this."

After a while in her thoughts Stephanie looked up, "I see....I understand...my eyes...causing like a tunnel...I see many images of the television like I was drunk...do I need glasses?"

"Like you were drunk?", Darth mused, "you must have heard someone say this...you don't need glasses. See this mountain...sense what it is?"

Stephanie focused on the imaginary mountain they were heading too. After a while, her thoughts settling down, she said, "I sense fear....trepidation....is it the mountain of Moses?", she looked up at her telepathic father.

"In ordinary life", Darth said, "now a strong force comes over you...explain to me the best you can what you feel, sense."

Stephanie faded slightly from the strong mental imagery while she focused on ordinary life. After a while in the imaginary setting she turned and looked up at Darth, "dad....how do I know you are a man? You could be an angel? You could be God?"

In response Darth recalled himself in ordinary life, walking along a street, doing some deliveries, and even sitting in his office in St. Vincent's de Paul. He maintained such recalls until Stephanie was satisfied. "Yes, all right, my imaginary father, you are a man...now I will tell you what I felt when you asked...I felt like a child like me was descending from heaven and coming into me, then like putting on a seat belt or something and blending with my body...am I silly?"

"No, you are honest, sincere, genuine", Darth smiled as they suddenly saw stone steps carved into the mountain and they began to climb these, hand in hand, and ever so carefully. Stephanie imagined holding a bear toy under her arms but sometimes she would lift her dress a touch as she stepped up a step.

"Can I go to my room please and lay down?", Stephanie asked her telepathic father in her thoughts at the same time as she asked her mother in ordinary life.

Soon in ordinary life she was in her room and laying down in the darkness, and focusing ever so strongly on the mental image in her thoughts. By now both had walked up high up the stone steps. They sat down, and Stephanie looked down at the height, and moving closer to her "imaginary dad", "dad, this is so high up!"

"Aha, but watch and understand this", Darth pointed with his hand and like a hole opened, and a man, an old man, was sitting by one candle perhaps in deep reflection. Then a similar man in a different room. As the two contemplated, a powerful line of force, glittering and golden, formed from their head and focused on yet another man now in the vision, a man dressed like a will man with a leather covering hanging from his waist. Stephanie looked at Darth, her lips tightly closed she expecting a most wonderful news about these visions.

"The two men are Rabbi's from long past", Darth spoke softly and quietly, "they have been taught by the spirit how to test a prophet. The force from their heads would mentally kill any fool but could not touch a true Prophet of old. When you are of age, you will be a Prophetess to your people, the Jehovah Witnesses. But there is no rush. And I want you to carefully learn the mystery of forming a spiritual force in the human brain. In time, you will choose from among your people those who can make a divine plan come to pass - the ideal lifestyle on the cover of the Watchtower magazines. But also, you will make sure some foolish rituals of your people are forgotten because they are ill conceived."

Stephanie listened most attentively. After a while she said with a hand gesture too, "dad, I am only nine, but I am not stupid", she shook her head, "something in me already tells me what I am experiencing in my head is impossible for humanity to experience...you are of God."

"Do you believe in Santa Claus?", Darth asked (it was close to Christmas in Australia).

"Not anymore", Stephanie shook her head, "but I like the idea of presents at Christmas so I pretend I do believe. And, father", she stood up and turned to Darth, "I need to understand some rules about behaving properly. You are my father now, not just in my thoughts, you are very real to me too, and...and....I sense...my instinct I think it is...not sure...but I sense you have more authority over me than anyone on Earth.

"You decide", Darth pointed with his hand to the steps leading up, "and on each step you define the law of the heart you wish your people to obey. Go on, step up, and decide what the law on that step ought to be."

Stephanie took the step up and turned to Darth. She put a finger to her lips and pondered, "on this step, I want two or more people to love one another."

Darth stood and stepped up, turned to the child, flowing ever so gently, "how I can prove I do love you?"

Stephanie took a deep breath, looked about, then came to him and leant against him, her free arm around his back, "dad, I trust you that you mean to harm to me...that is important to a child like me...that to me is love then on this step."

Then she climbed onto the high step and made Darth step up. "On this step, dad, I want you to give me a slap...on the bottom." She turned around and waited.

"Give me a reason", Darth mused.

Stephanie turned and shook her finger, "no, I do not want to give a reason, I just know I deserve one for something I did at school last week...don't ask, trust me, and just do." She turned around again.

Darth sat down and made Stephanie sit next to him. She leant against him. "Tell me what you did at school."

"Well, I thought of something wicked to happen to my teacher whom I felt was very rude to the class", Stephanie explained, "I wanted her to fall of her chair!"

Darth forced her will in such a way that Stephanie recalled the day at school and the female teacher sitting at her desk. To Stephanie Darth said, "so it shall be then...she shall fall of her chair...do not wonder how....do not wonder when...forget what I just told you until that happens...only when it happens, is trust between me and you complete and again you shall imagine being with me. Understand?"

"Yes father", the child replied and gave him a kiss on the cheek as the telepathy began to fade.

About a week later the two were back on the mountain. Stephanie looked in a shy way at her telepathic father and said, "maybe it was a coincidence? Maybe you are not God and can not make things like that happen...maybe she just fell of the chair by chance?"

"Maybe...but she did fall of the chair, did she not?", Darth asked.

Stephanie nodded and laughed, "oh yes, and it was so funny everyone laughed!"

She set about explaining very carefully and accurately how the teacher fell of the chair. After a while, she sitting next to Darth, she said as she pointed to the higher step, "can we go up the next step?"

"Sure", Darth stood and so did the child and they took a step up. Darth turned to her, "it is hard work for a man or woman, to look a child your age across the telepathic plane. What reward can you offer to me for taking care of you?"

Stephanie narrowed her eyes and looked at the desert beneath the mountain. Then she shrugged, "I don't know...what would you like me to do?"

In her thoughts now she imagined being in a house, sitting at a table, as she did she felt a deep emotion, then a sense of a light vibration that moved her soul deeply (a "smile" from the spirit, as Jarah called this effect). Then she was back on the step on the mountain saying to Darth, "I understand, dad, I know what pleases you and I shall try to...to...understand and imitate the spirit of God."

Then Helen, aware of most of this, altered the setting and Darth and Stephanie were in the kitchen of their number one telepathy house. Helen, in a dark blue pleated skirt with a lighter shirt, was also sitting, and explaining to Stephanie, "dear, for reasons I do not understand...you are already competing with Lisa whose adoration for her father", Helen pointed to Darth, "is outside the scope of the human dimension. I don't know what it is...but I suspect you sense this."

"Sure", Stephanie glanced at Darth, "cause I believe in him, in the man, in the spirit, in all he has shown me."

"I understand", Helen came over and gave the child a kiss on the forehead, "you are the Believer...Lisa is the Faith...Sara is the Lovely One...Jarah is the Holy One of the Eternal One...Lola is a true Daughter of the Faith...Amy is the Elegant One...Elisha is the Compassionate One...Rebecca is the Clever One...and so on...all my telepathic daughters seem to have a talent...use your talent well."

"Sure, mum", Stephanie was looking puzzled, not at all sure what Helen had said about her other telepathic daughters.

Helen asked Stephanie to go to the lounge room and Stephanie in a blink of an eye imagined herself sitting on the lounge in the loumge room. She could hear her telepathic parents talking quietly in the kitchen then Helen came out, sat herself neatly before Stephanie, and said, "dear...I have a golden law in my family...that is...when I take you to Jewish Life in the Spirit, you be on your best behavior...that is what I insist on with all my telepathic children and I do have many now, so many."

"Sure, mum", Stephanie nodded, "can I watch the television?", she pointed to a television-like box in a corner of the room. Helen glanced at where the child pointed, then locked Lisa's will and Lisa the twelve year old was now in the imaginary in a uniform like a Catholic High School student might wear.

"Explain to Stephanie how to watch the television", Helen told Lisa and returned to the kitchen.

Lisa brought Stephanie to the "television set" and they both sat down.

"You are only twelve?", Stephanie said, "aren't you young to go to a High School? That is a High School uniform I believe."

"I am only in year seven and yes, I am the youngest in my class...but I am very smart you see", Lisa replied as she touched some buttons on the television set. "This television set links telepathically to various telepathy groups...use this knob to tune into a telepathy group...see their settings....and if none are online...then you can imagine a show by recalling a show you had seen, that works great, with lots of practice that is", Lisa mused as she was turning the knob, "and you can also spy on organizations such as NASA, FBI, what not, if you know how to tune this television set."

"I don't know what they are", Stephanie shook her head.

In their thoughts it was that time when the family would go to a church in their lifestyle. This was the first time Stephanie was among them in such settings. She had imagined being inside the lounge room and Helen and Lisa facing one another, with Helen saying firmly to Lisa, "Lisa, sweetheart, can't you imagine wearing something else to church for a change! Always that old-fashioned yellow dress."

"We had this argument before mum", Lisa stretched her arms wide, "and I always won." Then Lisa glanced at Stephanie now in the setting, "hi...we are going to Church, a Catholic Church, in our way of life...not that much different to a normal Catholic Church except sometimes dad is asked to make a speech."

"No, to make a reflection", Helen said and shrugged, giving in to Lisa on her choice of dress, and came over to Stephanie and knelt down and began to straighten and make tidy her satin golden dress. "What do you wear when your mother, Melanie, takes you to...to...what is it called?", Helen glanced at Darth now also in the setting, "oh yes, a Kingdom Hall?"

"I am not sure what it is called mum, its just an assembly of people", Stephanie replied, "but I will take notice next time to see what our church is called." (i.e. in ordinary life Stephanie is a Jehovah Witness, does not go to a Catholic Church.)

Sara also entwined into the setting, she rubbing her eyes indicating she was tired in ordinary life, and she wearing a Catholic High School uniform. Stephanie wanted to understand this, why Sara whom she knew as a Jewish girl in Israel, why in the settings she was wearing a Catholic uniform. "Too complicated", Lisa waved her hand, "Sara uses this Jewish technique of entwining...there is Sara in Israel, there is a Sara in Australia who is a Jew, and there is this Catholic girl called Sara in ordinary life with whom the two Sara's formed a friendship and unite their will together."

"I don't understand", Stephanie shook her head.

"And you don't need to understand", Helen said.

As was their way, they imitated ordinary life. The family going out of the house, locking the door, going down into a car, and driving to a church. Darth was driving, Lisa in the front seat, while Helen sat between Sara and Stephanie in the back. Stephanie had her hand on Helen's lap and sometimes touched the longish blond hair. Then she said quickly and turned her eyes down as she said this, "you are very pretty mum."

"Thanks", Helen smiled and touched Stephanie's hair, "so are you."

In the church it was Darth's turn to make an "observation". He walked to the front and flowed, "when a child is born, from a young age they sense life around them, human life and animal life, a great variety of life does the brain of a newborn learn to sense and this very quickly. When such a child grows and hears the good news about Jesus and God, that natural sense also senses life in the men and women of the Gospels, life which is outside the scope of ordinary human experience. In other words, such men and women were transformed into different beings to the human beings they were born. The point is, the world is ruled by animal life, not by life in the spirit, and animal life strives to possess, strives to manipulate, strives to enforce its will on all, strives to protect its riches. Never look directly at such animal-human life, unless you have no choice in the matter."

On their way home, in the car, Lisa turned to her telepathic siblings, "don't mind dad...his speeches are sometimes so bold."

Helen asked Darth to drive by a lake in their settings. They stepped out, she and Darth sitting on a stone while the girls rushed to a sandy shore of the lake, and took turns and picking some sand and throwing them at one another, laughing.

"My dad, in ordinary life, can not find work", Stephanie chatted away as she tossed sand and laugher with the others, "is that because animal-humans don't care about mental anguish they cause to decent people?"

"Aha", Sara replied, "animal humans define laws to protect their riches, to enslave the masses, and purchase mindless men and women who want to be in their militia to enforce their laws, their will, on all others."

"Sara, you are sounding like dad", Lisa mused.

"I am too!", Sara laughed herself.

"Wait, I just remembered", Stephanie paused and looked at where Darth and Helen were sitting, "I have to reward dad." She concentrated, and then a "smile of the spirit" fell onto the setting like a gentle magnificent and most holy vibration.

"How did you do that!?", Sara puzzled.

"I don't know exactly, but my mum in ordinary life helps me through a mystery", Stephanie explained, "I just felt I knew how to get the spirit to smile on us."

Lisa rushed to Stephanie and holding her hand brought her to a slope and made her sit, she sitting down with her. "You see", Lisa opened her hand and was counting off her fingers, "I want to explain to you...firstly...dad...my dad...your dad...he", she pointed at Darth, "is the Holy Spirit but that is much the same as the Devil to those who are not children of God...what he observes he speaks boldly and is highly articulate in ordinary life and that frightens human-animals....mum, that mum", Lisa pointed to Helen, "is the true wife of the Holy Spirit but she is a Jew, and in Jewish myths and legends the opposite of the Holy Spirit is the Devil, or Satan, so in a sense that mum is...well", Lisa stopped herself, thinking this ever so funny. Sara also was with them now and she covering her hand with her mouth while nodding with her head, "that's right...by Jewish tradition...dad is married to the Devil!"

Sara and Lisa burst out laughing. Stephanie was puzzling about all this.

"I am not much fond of that ancient and out of date understanding", the girls heard Helen flow to them. The girls could see her putting her hand around Darth's arm, giving him a kiss. What they did not hear was Helen whipering, "but on our honeymoon night, when we consummate our Faith Marriage, it will be my pleasure to be the Devil for you."

Darth was puzzled why Amy was not with them.

"Amy has some issues", Helen explained, "she is objecting that we only ever go to a Catholic Church in our settings. She wants us to include an Anglican church in our settings. I said I would consider it...but so far the Anglicans have not impressed anybody much...except their two barristers have impressed but those two are lovers in the spirit, children of God, so I don't think of them two as Anglicans."

Sara had heard this and came over and sat next to Helen, putting her hand around Helen's upper arm. "Mum...Amy has no choice...she uses telepathy well now...she needs a family like us to look after her."

"I know, and Amy understands this by now, just give her some time to adjust", Helen replied as she put her arm around Sara.

Elisha, the fifteen year old, also entwined an image of herself. She wore her usual long dark red dress. She said "hi, mum, dad", then walked to sit next to Lisa and Stephanie. She introduced herself to Stephanie again, uncertain if Stephanie remember Elisha from the last time. Then the setting changed rapidly to Sandra's house, with Darth and Helen sitting on the loumge, she with her hand around Darth's upper arm, the children at the table, and Sandra busy setting the table and explaining to Stephanie, "Jewish Life in the Spirit is responsible for many things in our new world...and Helen is your father's wife by the grace of God...but she allows me, and Lisa-1, to also be wives at the will level. The Christians are represented by Lisa-1, a celibate Catholic Sister of the order of Mary. Lana is the Holy Wife, she and I are as one. Through Lana, Jarah, Elisha, Harla, and myself, the spirit smiles onto our settings. Knowing all this, Stephanie, and you seem bright to me...whom do you feel is your telepathic father's true wife?"

Stephanie glanced at Darth and Helen sitting on the lounge and pointed at Helen, "that one is...I know it."

Lisa sitting next to Stephanie leant and whispered, "believe me...that is the only mum of the three who can punish you in a way that will hurt...for this reason she is the number one mother."

Sara, sitting on the right of Stephanie, leant forward and spoke to Lisa, "how would you know? You have never been touched by mum or dad...but mum got stuck into me once so I know the truth of what you claim."

Then the setting altered rapidly - a tavern or simple eating place, and Helen sitting on a seat before a small round table, and a new woman sitting opposite. Both women imagining drinking milkshakes through a straw. Helen explaining to Melanie, "you have no choice anymore...the life in you has passed biological death...you have to learn how to get along with those with whom your thoughts interact with."

"How do I know that is true?", Melanie heard her thoughts asking.

"Why do people always say that!", Helen replied, "why can't they simply accept? How can I prove to you what I said? It depends on what you are willing to believe. I have told you a scientific fact as Natural Telepaths understand such mysteries of life...up to you what you choose to believe, but for your own sake, learn to cope among us."

"I like your husband as you call him", Melanie found herself flowing, "makes you happy, and you make him happy, but I am alone."

"No shortage of men or women, single, who want to form telepathic partnerships", Helen replied and stood up, "come along, I will introduce you to a hundred singles...take your pick. It is not easy to mate, two souls need to blend, to touch, to share the most intimate and personally embarrassing moments...but if you pass this, then yes, you can have a happy and rewarding marriage across the telepathic plane."

They walked out of the eating place and Melanie was impressed by the vision of what looked like a busy and crowded city.

As the two walked, Melanie asked, "Helen...Stephanie is my physical daughter...I know she is...I worry...is she safe in her head with all this telepathy in her thoughts?"

"Safer than with you", Helen replied, "I and my husband, Darth, have brought up many telepathic children and look after a great many. We feel toward each one as if they were our natural children."

"I don't negate that", Melanie nodded and forgot about Stephanie and began to focus on the setting she was seeing and walking through in her mind.
